Caraloe, a subsidiary of Carrington Laboratories, Irving, TX, has obtained the exclusive right among manufacturers of products from the Aloe vera L. plant to use Maitake gold 404® in combination with any product produced from aloe. The arrangement was made with Tradeworks Group, Brattleboro, VT, which holds the North American marketing and distribution rights to the maitake beta (1,6 and 1,3) glucans found in maitake mushrooms and protected by U.S. patent 5,854,404. Caraloe will now market the third product in its immune stimulant line with Manapol® plus Maitake Gold 404.
